Dear Rev. Park and all the members of YMBB

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and hope you all are doing well

Psalmist says, ¡°Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits-who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle¡¯s.¡± (Psalm 103: 1-5).

There is no word in the dictionary to express the heartfelt of thanks to God for what he has done in our life. He is the one who sustained us by his grace and helped us to live in this world, even though we are not worthy. We cannot forget all the blessing we received from him. In the midst of all this pandemic and lockdown, he had been faithful to us, protecting us from all the kind harms and providing all our needs according to his glorious richness and also giving us strength to serve him. Therefore, we cannot forget to praise and thank him for what God has done for us.

We also thank all our prayer partners for your sincere prayer and generous contribution. Your partnership in mission helped us to carry out the Great Commission, where the people are perishing without hearing the good news of salvation. We would like to thank all of you for your unceasing support and prayer. May God continuously bless you and your family, ministry as well as businesses!

Present Circumstances

Our country is under lockdown from the month of January because of Covid-19 and it is spreading very fast. Our government is trying to stop the spreading of virus Omicron but it is very difficult. Both government and public are undergoing hard time to deal with virus. People are suffering, especially those who are living hand to mouth in daily wages. Movement is restricted and need to follow Covid-19 protocol such as quarantine. All the international border gates are closed and there is no flight going in and out only for cargo.

Ministry and new experiences

In the midst of all these circumstances God¡¯s work is going on and nothing is able to stop it. We are very much grateful to God for the wisdom that had been poured out on people to invent and create new technology, through which we are able to communicate.

Today all our ministries and services are going on through new technology (Zoom). Even though we are not able to gather physically for worship but we are able to get together through zoom to praise him. Thrice a week (Sunday, Wednesday and Friday) we have gathering through zoom and personal communication through phone with church members. It is a new experience in ministry and also effective too.

Learning and Teaching Ministry

We also have learning and teaching through zoom. Right now, we are learning a subject on ¡°Discipleship¡± with our regional director Watson, Mr. Gabriel and Dr. Dinesh from India. All our local leaders and some of the members are taking part in this learning.

We are also involved in teaching. I am teaching all the churches and leaders in BT about the cult or wrong teaching that is spreading in BT through new technology. Since people are not able to gather in the church and most of them are in their phone so they are participating in their worship without knowing about their teaching. Right now, Jehovah Witness, the Church of Almighty God from China, Shincheonji Church of Jesus from Korea, Zhang Gil-Jah (World Mission Society Church of God from Korea and Unification Church (Moonism) from Korea are present in our country. I am teaching who they are and what they are teaching as well as how to confront them. Many youths are involved in these groups

My wife is also involved with women ministry and she is also helping the women how to live Godly woman life and take the responsibilities to take care of their children. All the activities are going through zoom since gathering is restricted.

Church members

Many of our church members were affected with virus. Both our pastors and their families in border town tested positive and they are self-quarantine in their house because there are no more quarantine facilities outside. Their houses were sealed but somehow, they are recovering and we thank God for it. Some of the church members are affected economically because of lockdown

Family

We thank God for his grace, love and mercy as well as all his provision and protection. By his grace we are doing well and our children are doing well too. Their school supposed to start from tomorrow (1st March) but because of lockdown and virus, it is postponed till 14th of April.

Prayer points

Once again, we would like to thank all the prayer partners for your sincere prayer and support. Please continuously pray for:

  1. Pray for the church members those who are affected by virus and also those who are affected economically
  2. Pray for me, my wife and other colleagues those who are involved in teaching the churches and leaders. We seek God¡¯s guidance and wisdom
  3. Pray for present ministry system so that it will go well and members will remain strong in their faith
  4. Pray for our country, king and other leaders
